Crownwick Advances, a small-business funding service in Lancaster, PA, matches owners with funding partners. You describe what the money is for; we suggest options and pass the request to a partner that offers them; the partner reviews documents and credit, then makes its own decision and written offer.
Stage 1: You describe the need
Call (717) 675-6950 or send the online request. The form asks for your full name, phone, email and company name (optional), plus picks for time in business, annual revenue range and requested amount range, and a consent box. Then we call you back and ask the questions that matter most: what the money will pay for, when you need it, and how your customers pay you.
Stage 2: We match the options
Crownwick Advances is a broker, not a lender. We do not make credit decisions or set prices. Our job is to point the request at the kind of funding that fits, whether that is working capital, equipment financing or one of the other options on the comparison page, and then match it with funding partners who offer that product.
Stage 3: A partner reviews and decides
The partner reads the file, may ask for documents, and makes its own decision. If it approves, it sets the amount, term and cost and puts them in a written offer. A partner can decline, and different partners can reach different answers on the same file.
What lenders look for when you apply for a business loan
- Deposits and balances in business bank statements
- Time in business and the type of entity
- Revenue and how steady it is month to month
- Existing loans or advances and their payments
- The purpose of the money and, for equipment or stock, the quote
- Personal credit of the owners for many products
Paperwork for a business loan request
Expect recent business bank statements first. Depending on the product and size, partners may also ask for business tax returns, a profit and loss statement, a balance sheet, an equipment quote, a lease, or proof that the business is registered. The Lancaster, PA registration guide points to where those records come from.
How many months of bank statements for a business loan?
Partners differ; several months is a typical starting point, and some ask for more for larger amounts. Send complete statements with every page; partial ones can hold up a review.
Credit scores and business loan requests
No one score applies everywhere. Each partner sets its own criteria and weighs credit alongside deposits, time in business and collateral. Equipment financing leans on the asset; a merchant cash advance leans on card receipts; an unsecured term loan leans harder on credit. We will not quote a cut-off because none applies across partners.
How long a business loan review takes
It depends on the product, the partner and how complete the file is. A complete set of statements and a clear purpose shorten the back-and-forth; missing pages lengthen it. We do not promise timelines because the partner, not us, controls the review.
Stage 4: You decide
Read the written offer: total repaid, payment amount and frequency, fees, prepayment terms and any personal guarantee. Compare it against what the money will earn or save. You can accept, ask questions, or decline. For worked examples of the arithmetic, see our post on financing a metal or machine shop, and for short answers try the FAQ or contact us.
